As I began to consider how I create, my website began to be more a reflection of who I am than of what I sell. At last, I have come to its purpose as being an extension of who I am in an effort to either inspire others to create or to inspire curiosity and interest so that others might enter into dialog with me to create unique pieces, custom-designed to mirror who they are.
Some of the creations you see on my pages are still available and may be purchased upon inquiry, but beyond this, they serve as a “jumping off” place for dialog and co-creation with another, an art I fear we are losing in our culture of electronic devices that leave no need for direct contact.
By my use of this electronic tool, I reach out to those who do not yet fear connection with another, be it a challenge or a joy. I invite you to connect.
Writings Shared: Of Others and of My Own
A quote from Brother Curtis Almquist
“I wonder if you can receive these words: that you are a blessing to God, and that God is intent on your being a channel of blessing, the blessing of God's light and life and love to all that surrounds you . CaWrin you receive that: that you are a blessing?”

My Own Pondering
During this time of social distancing and virtual worship, I enlist the help of willing participants to record the scripture reading. I then edit it and save it as an mp3 so that I can email it to our church secretary. I used to edit out all the breath sounds until one day I didn't, and Roy said that to leave them in makes the reading more "human." I think he is right. I like perfection, but it is the imperfections that help us realize beauty.
I like order, but more and more I must accept my own disorder that is creeping in as I age. Patience, acceptance, and love become more precious to strive toward and to become more of for ourselves.
More and more my tears are taking the place of human contact. What else is there? There is no other substitute for release, at least for me. (6/29/2020)
